Easter Rabbits and co.

Hollow Figures

Who hasn’t seen them – chocolate Santa Clauses, Easter bunnies or lucky beetles?

Traditionally deposited in moulds and distributed using a centrifugal process.

In industrial production – for example, in the case of surprise eggs – the hollow shells are first filled by using a depositor, then formed into shells approximately 1 mm thick using a ColdPress and optionally filled. The two halves are then book-moulded together.

Possible areas of application include:
  • Santa Clause chocolates
  • Easter Rabbit chocolates
  • Easter Egg chocolates

The centrifugal process is carried out using a spinning machine or a ColdPress.
